She is the coordinator and Associate Teaching Professor of the Arabic language program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has developed the Arabic Studies minor at UNC Charlotte and she teaches varies Arabic language courses including beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. She also teaches content courses in English such as Modern Arab culture course, and a course on understanding millennials of the Middle East through culture, mass media and literature. She also supervises the Arabic program, Arabic culture clubs, and extra-curricular activities. In addition, She is the students’ Arabic Studies minor advisor.
